Kilmington Cricket Club is situated in the picturesque south east corner of Devon close to the world famous Jurassic Coast. Founded in 1879 the club played friendly cricket up until they joined the East Devon Cricket League where the club enjoyed great success competing against teams in the local area. When this league ended they joined the Devon Cricket League playing regionalised cricket. With player numbers growing a second eleven was formed to join the DCL second tier. Running alongside the league games friendly cricket was maintained on Sundays and midweek, some of which is the best cricket played, especially against touring sides like Wye Rustics, Spar Ramblers and Tiffintits, all very strong sides who look forward to returning year on year not only for the cricket but also for the friendly banter and camaraderie
With good facilities that are enjoyed not only by club members but also as a host ground for the Devon Over 50 X1 Kilmington is both a great ground to play cricket at and a pleasure to visit to watch the game.
